Second body found torched in upstate NY

 

It is being reported on July 7, 2016 that a second incinerated body was discovered in upstate NY.  “A witness spotted one body burned beyond recognition in a wooded part of La Grange Park in Rochester just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, less than two days after a body was found on the side of an isolated dirt road in Caledonia.”

Oscar Pistorius to return to prison

It is being reported on March 3, 2016 that the Constitutional Court in South Africa has rejected Oscar Pistorius’s appeal against his murder conviction. “”We can confirm that Oscar Pistorius’ leave to appeal has been denied,” National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Luvuyo Mfaku told Reuters.”  The double-amputee Olympian now faces at least 15 years in jail — a new sentence will be handed down on April 18, 2016.

Michelle Carter trial moved to January 21, 2016

Michelle Carter,18, the Massachusetts teen charged with murder for encouraging her friend to commit suicide via text, appeared in court today.  Her lawyer. Joseph P. Cataldo, wants all charges thrown out but the judge rescheduled the trial to January 21, 2016.

Bali suitcase killer, Heather Mack’s uncle in court to stop her from getting trust fund

It is being reported on October 14, 2015 that the Bali suitcase killer Heather Mack’s uncle went to court to prevent Mack from receiving her trust fund money.  “William Wiese, the uncle of Heather Mack, plans to file a petition in an Illinois court to ensure his niece and her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, do not get a penny from his sister’s $1.56 million trust fund.”

Amanda Knox faces more prison time

Amanda Knox was acquitted of murder back in March due to insufficient evidence  but her conviction of calunnia or criminal slander was upheld.  Knox falsely accused her former boss Patrick Lumumba for the murder of Meredith Kercher and as a result she was sentenced to four years which was time served in Capanne Prison.
