$4,500 reward for information on dog abuser in SoCal

It is being reported on August 26, 2015 that authorities are seeking information on the identity of an animal abuser.  Five dogs in the last two months have been found with severe burns in Lancaster and Kern County in Southern California.

Russia sentences Ukrainian filmmaker to 20 years in prison

It is being reported on August 25, 2015 that a Ukrainian filmmaker, Oleg Sentsov, who was opposed Russia’s annexation of the Crimean Peninsula, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.  “The 39-year-old Crimean native was tried along with Crimean activist Alexander Kolchenko, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison.”

911 call about offensive odor leads to discovery of dead bodies in garage

August 25, 2015 – Police received a 911 call regarding a foul smell emanating from a garage in northern Philadelphia.  After police accessed the space, they discovered three dead bodies.  Two corpses were in boxes and one in a coffin.  Investigators traced the stinky stiffs to a funeral home around the corner.

Convicted of murder twice and acquitted twice, the now free due to lack of evidence, Raffaele Sollecito has taken to writing, much like his former lover, ‘autore di assassino’ Amanda Knox.  The book is titled, “A step out of the night – All that you have never dreamed of me.”   Many may view this book as yet more blood money being made from the murder of Meredith Kercher.  Knox and Sollecito have already garnered millions talking about her tragic death.

Two men in France sentenced for threatening a ‘Charlie Hebdo 2’ attack on train

August 25, 2015 – Just two days after a terrorist attack on a Paris bound train which was heroically thwarted by young Americans, another group of passengers were terrorized.  Two young men, 22 and 23, aboard a train headed to Mantes-la-Jolie, told passengers that they had a bomb and would blow everyone up.

Names of NASA employees who bought child porn kept secret

It is being reported on August 24, 2015 that the identities of NASA employees who were found to have bought child pornography from an Eastern European website will not be revealed.  “An investigation by Daily Mail Online found 16 staff members from the space agency paid for pictures and videos of children in sexual situations, but were never prosecuted.”

Defense for Boston Marathon murderer wants to look at jurors social media accounts

August 24, 2015: Judge O’Toole has denied requests by the lawyers for Boston bomber, DzhokharTsarnaev,  for the names of the jurors who sentenced him to death three months ago.  The Boston Globe also requested the identities of the jury.

A news was conference held on Monday August 24, 2015 to offer a $500,000 reward to anyone who identifies the hackers that released private data from the Ashley Madison website.  The repercussions of this security breach has spread all over the world.  At least two suicides have been directly connected to this computer attack.

Teen brothers may have taken videos while killing parents and three siblings

It is being reported on August 23, 2015 that the two Oklahoma brothers, Robert Bever, 18, and Michael Bever, 16 may have uploaded a video of their attacks on Youtube.  They stabbed their family members on July 22, 2015.  Daniel, 12; Christopher, 7; Victoria, 5; and parents David, 52, and April, 44 were found dead on the scene.  Their 13-year-old sister, Crystal, was injured but survived, while their other sister Autumn, 2, was unharmed.
