Murder, Murder of Meredith Kercher

Amanda Knox’s ex-boyfriend peddles another publication

Murder victim Meredith Kercher, book written by her father

Convicted of murder twice and acquitted twice, the now free due to lack of evidence, Raffaele Sollecito has taken to writing, much like his former lover, ‘autore di assassino’ Amanda Knox.  The book is titled, “A step out of the night – All that you have never dreamed of me.”   Many may view this book as yet more blood money being made from the murder of Meredith Kercher.  Knox and Sollecito have already garnered millions talking about her tragic death.

Will he write about the cocaine dealers that Knox slept with and contacted before and after the murder?  Will he detail the quarrel that Meredith told her sister that she had with Knox just before the murder?  Will he explain why a full loci of his DNA was on the bra clasp in the murder room?  Does he still maintain, as he did at a press conference, that Amanda was not with him the night of the murder?

Or is the book going to be a lot of “poor me” akin to his lover’s protracted prose?  Readers will have to wait and see.  His publishers are no doubt timing the announcement of his book *coincidentally*  just before Knox returns to court in early September to face slander charges.

Knox’s PR firm has kept a clamp on the news of the next trial – ostensibly to spring it on the U.S. public at the last minute with whiny soundbites of the formerly convicted murderess repeating the same lie, “Meredith was my friend.”

No she wasn’t. Liar.  Speaking of lying, Raffaele has to be very courageous to write another book after his first book earned him a new court date.  Sollecito is due back in court in May 2016 to face defamation charges for the content of his first book.
