Just days after Rudy Guede pointed the finger at him and Amanda Knox for being at the scene of the murder, Raffaele Sollecito announced in the news that he has filed a petition against the state of Italy. He is suing for half a million Euros claiming wrongful imprisonment. “The application was filed today at the Court of Appeal of Florence by his lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno and Luca Maori.”

Following the aftermath of Rudy Guede‘s sensational interview on Italian television show Storie Maledette (Cursed Stories), Raffaele Sollecito reacts as if he has been struck by lightning. The pony-tailed former prisoner announced in the press that he will seek payment for damages. This pronouncement was made even though Guede never explicitly stated Sollecito was there. Meantime Amanda Knox remains silent while her lawyer calls Rudy the “king of liars.”

Rudy Guede: Amanda Knox knows the whole truth

Rudy Guede’s interview with Cursed Stories (Storie Maledette) aired on Italian television on Thursday night. According to Franca Leosini, Guede turned down many lucrative interview offers, choosing her show because of its professionalism and credibility. Many Italians tuned into the show and simultaneously turned to Twitter to tweet their opinions (#StorieMaledette). The general consensus was that Guede (pronounced Gwede) was impressive, believable and appeared more intellectual than Knox and Sollecito.

Amanda Knox’s ex says ‘Stop Rudy’

It is being reported on January 19, 2016 that Amanda Knox’s ex-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito is trying to shut down Rudy Guede’s interview. Rudy Guede spoke with Franca Leosini of the Italian television show Cursed Stories, set to air on January 21, 2016. But Sollecito’s lawyers, Giulia Bongiorno and Luca Maori have written a letter to the show’s producers threatening legal action if they broadcast Rudy’s interview.

It is being reported on January 18, 2016 that Rudy Guede says that he is innocent of the murder of Meredith Kercher. In a clear and concise manner, Guede states that there is no evidence of his DNA on the murder weapon or in the simulated break-in room. He goes on to say that he knew both Meredith Kercher and Amanda Knox but was more familiar with Knox. “‘I am the only one convicted. And I am certain of what I say, to 101 percent, because I got to know both girls, but mostly Amanda Knox .’ Finger pointing, in short, against Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, who the Supreme Court acquitted.”

CNN censors Amanda Knox coverage in Italy

It is being reported on January 16, 2016 that the Italian television show, Cursed Stories was snubbed by CNN when they tried to purchase 40 seconds of video of Amanda Knox. The footage was requested for their upcoming interview with Rudy Guede, the third suspect in the murder of Meredith Kercher.

Amanda Knox acquittal defies logic
It is being reported on January 14, 2016 that the Italian courts in Florence have acquitted Amanda Knox of slandering the police. Knox was facing an additional two years and eight months in prison for accusing the police of “pressures and mistreatment.” Knox claimed that the police abuse caused her to falsely accuse her former Congolese boss, Patrick Lumumba of murdering Meredith Kercher.

Rudy Guede speaks for first time about Amanda Knox case
It is being reported on January 8, 2016 that Rudy Guede, 29, the third person convicted for the murder of Meredith Kercher, 21, will be appearing on Italian television. Guede is scheduled to appear on a show titled, “Cursed Stories” on January 21, 2016.
