Arrests made in case of burnt body in upstate NY

It is being reported on July 7, 2016 that police have arrested two people, a man and woman, in connection with a burnt corpse discovered in Caledonia, NY.  The couple is being charged with murder and tampering with evidence.   At the current time, few details are being released.

The two people charged are 35-year-old Aykut Ozkaynak and 42-year-old Mary Neverett.  They are both from the Rochester, NY area and were both arraigned Thursday night.  Each have plead not guilty.

New York State Police Captain Richard Allen said that they will be giving a press conference tomorrow, Friday morning.
