The trial of the murder of Meredith Kercher was hijacked by unscrupulous actors associated with Innocence Projects in America. These people aligned themselves with the defense attorneys of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito in order to exert undue influence on the trial – perverting the course of justice.

In the first instance of Knox and Sollecito’s trial (Massei) they were both found guilty of murdering Meredith Kercher (same as Rudy Guede.) Knox and Sollecito appealed this decision which led to the Hellmann instance which, with the help of American ‘expert’ interference, got them acquitted. This was appealed which led to the overwhelmingly publicized Nencini trial which reversed the acquittal, declaring Knox and Sollecito guilty once again. This final decision was forwarded to the Supreme Court (aka 5th Chambers of Cassation ) which normally confirms the final verdicts (in this case guilty) however an unusual event occurred where they retried the case and decided to acquit Knox and Sollecito. This was a final verdict, the trial was over. After this, Knox has repeatedly run the media circuit claiming to be ‘exonerated.’ But the Supreme court did not exonerate her or the others, in fact, they confirmed that the evidence of their guilt still stood but . . . maybe it wasn’t really enough. But wasn’t it? They were found guilty two our of three appeals trials and the single appeal they won was as the result of unprecedented outside interference.

This interference can be described as collusion of ‘experts’ hired to support Knox and came together after her intial guilty verdict (Massei.) Guliano Mignin writes in his book,

” . . . the “pro Amanda”lobby: . . lawyer Theodore Simon, the geneticist Bruce Boudowle, director of the Institute of Genetic Investigations, Vice President professor of the Genetic Investigation Department at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth (Texas) wrote a letter addressed to the Court of Assizes of Appeal of Perugia, at the request of the lawyers Simon Theodore, Carlo Dalla Vedova and Carla Del Grosso, in which he challenged the validity of the scientific analysis, while technically lacking the capacity of Knox Consultant in the
process. Another was Greg Hampikian, professor of genetics at the Boise State University in Idaho, who was offered as an expert to the Knox family as part of his work in the “Innocence
Project” association. For all these subjects, who were allowed to teach the Italian Scientific Police his work, the work, especially on DNA, carried out by the investigators was a kind of shame and their judgment would be taken up by the “independent” experts, as the Americans called them.”

This collusion of ‘experts’ who claimed to own ‘the science’ and exerted their unofficial influence to throw doubt on some of the evidence (DNA) used in the trial as well as to defame and attack the Italian justice system, one of the original prosecutors (Mignini), and to mislead the American public via the media. This resulted in perverting the course of justice in the Meredith Kercher murder trial and help launch a murder suspect into stardom as a ‘victim of the Italian justice system.’ Nothing could be further from the truth.
