On November 1, 2007, 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, a beautiful, British, Erasmus exchange student was murdered in Perugia, Italy. On the anniversary of her death, The Seattle Times shockingly published a story about one of the murder suspects, Amanda Knox.

Is it not enough that the former murder suspect has just starred in a self-named “documentary,” created by two long-time advocates, which aired only thirty days earlier atop heavy publicity?

Now The Seattle Times rubs salt into the wound of the murder victim’s family by releasing its umpteenth article about Amanda Knox on the anniversary of Meredith’s death? The timing of this piece appears to be nothing but an attack on the Kercher family.
On this day, the anniversary of her tragic death, if you were going to publicize something, it should have been about the victim, Meredith Kercher. Shame on you Seattle Times! You owe the Kerchers an apology!
