Sketch released by Penn. police for man wanted for aggravated robbery, sexual assault

Suspect in robbery.

It is being reported on August 28, 2015 that the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit have released the above sketch of a man who robbed and raped a group of people last Sunday.

A man and two women in their 20’s were walking near the 2400 block of North Beach Street in Port Richmond section of Philadelphia around 6:30 PM when the man fitting the description above started a conversation with them.  The man then pulled out a gun on them.  After forcing them into a wooded area, the attacker robbed the three victims and sexually assaulted one of the women.

He stole their cellphone and wallets including all of their IDs and cash.  The perp tied them up with their own clothing then ran off towards Richmond Street which was West from the site of the assault.

The assailant is described as having a thick build, approx. 5 foot 9 inches tall, in his early 30’s and weighing about 230 lbs.  He had light brown hair, slight mustache and beard.  He wore a white baseball cap with a red “P” (Philies cap).  He wore a white tank top and blue jean shorts.
