It is being reported on April 22, 2016 that Police in Midlothian, TX are asking the public for help in identifying a murder suspect. A 45-year-old woman , Missy Bevers, was attacked and killed Creekside Church of Christ at around 4:00 AM Monday, April 18, 2016. A suspect wearing police gear was captured by motion-activated surveillance cameras in the church shortly before the murder.
Missy Bevers arrived at the church in the early morning in order to prepare for an exercise class that she taught at 5:00 AM. Her students found her lifeless body when they arrived for class. Police at first believed that the murder suspect caught on video was a man but later changed their stance.
Authorities ask people to view the video footage showing the way the perpetrator walks with his/her right leg pointing outwards and if this could help someone identify the attacker. An autopsy has been performed on the victim but details of her cause of death have not been released to the public.
Some people who knew Missy felt that this was not a random act of violence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Midlothian Police department’s tip line at 972-775-7624.
