It is being reported in the Italian news that Raffaele Sollecito, the media-loving ex-boyfriend of Amanda Knox, has again threatened the host of Italian hit show Storie Maledette (Cursed Stories), Franca Leosini. Sollecito said on a radio program, “She was injured my image, I will sue the Leosini”

Last month Leosini interviewed Rudy Guede, the third suspect in the murder of Meredith Kercher. In the interview Guede repeated his earlier testimony that Amanda Knox was there with Raffaele Sollecito when Meredith was brutally murdered. Rudy Guede’s interview aired on Italian television on January 21, 2016 and has been translated into English.

After initially being found guilty, they were acquitted, found guilty again, until the Italian Supreme Court acquitted Knox and Sollecito in 2015.  However, Rudy Guede remains behind bars, sentenced for being an accomplice, not the perpetrator of the murder. For this reason he is asking the courts to reopen his case and a team of lawyers have come forward to work pro bono for him.

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito have gone on to make millions from their books and media appearances while Guede gave his interview with Franca Leosini, for free.   Amanda Knox wrote a book for which she received a 4 million dollar advance, Sollecito has written two books about the murder as well as creating a software application for dead people. He has been in the news often promoting his new business and book.

Franca Leosini is a very popular Italian media personality with a huge following. This has not deterred Sollecito from insulting her and threatening to sue her. In his latest radio appearance Sollecito claimed that Rudy Guede was the only person responsible for murdering Meredith Kercher. The pony-tailed former prisoner called Rudy Guede a ‘liar and braggart’ then smeared Leosini, describing her as ‘unprofessional.’   Amanda Knox has kept a stony silence so far and has not made any comments to the press.
